Top 10 Best Value Restaurants in the world
by WesternTaste.com

It is a big difference between great value restaurants and high end restaurants. It is like comparing big famous Grand Cru wines that costs a lot however it does not mean that it is so much more and better then a really great value wine. You do not need to pay 2000 Euro for a wine to get the best; there are plenty of cheaper wines that are available for an almost equal quality. It is more or less the small things that make the difference between the top and great value restaurants. You simply have to know or find your spot to fall in love with.
The restaurant recommended in this section will probably be more from China and the northern Europe since we are situated in that area. We only want to recommend restaurants that we have tried and not only read about.
Enjoy!
1. Alameda (Beijing, China)

Brazilian gourmet with exceptional service, high standard, very good personality and passion of food and beverage is in this restaurant, you can feel it when you take in the entire gastronomic ambiance. Alameda offers a good and simple way of ordering dishes. Everything is set menu. 6 starters, 6 main courses and 6 desserts to choose from. Lunch is a bit less and simpler than evening dinner. Choose one of each and it will only cost you 60 RMB for lunch and 158 RMB for dinner. Easy, no complications and everything is absolutely wonderful.
2. Da Marco (Shanghai, China)

Really amazing prices and the amount of food that you get are too much to bear for the average person. The pasta dishes is the restaurant signature, a lot of it and home made. The taste is delicious and the environment is casual, easy and very relaxed for the customer. This is the place to dine, have a nice evening with your friends or even a date. A got tip for the travellers that are tired of Chinese cuisine and want some good quality home style Italian food in Shanghai.
3. Kao Kee (Hong Kong, China)

Great local restaurant in Hong Kong that only the locals have the knowledge of. This is a must visit if you are a noodle fan. The menu on the Thursday I went there were one of those minimalistic ones: three kinds of noodles (yii mein, ho faan, mai faan), two kinds of soup base (curry or broth). The place looks like it is running to its ground at any time however the food is amazing.
4. Mosto (Beijing, China)

This restaurant gives a modern Latin/ Mediterranean cuisine and they make it very good. The lunch concept is similar to Alameda in Beijing, however slightly more expensive, for 70 RMB you get to choose from 3 starters and 3 main courses. Although during evening the menu serves a la carte and the medium prices are around 200 RMB per person. However the food is excellent and very nice. The celebrity chef Daniel comes originally from Costa Rica and gives a very nice Latin touch to the contemporary Mediterranean food.
5. Mosebacke (Stockholm, Sweden)

With one of the best views you can find in Stockholm and is said to be the favourite spot of the Rolling Stones in Northern Europe. The food is very nice, with one of the best brunches you can find in the city and combining live jazz music to it. The standards and quality of customer satisfaction is very good and it is a keeper for all generations.
6. Kefi (New York City, USA)

This Upper East Side restaurant brings a cosy feeling with a very nice home-style cooking that provides passion and love into its restaurant. This place is a treat because it brings a very relaxed feeling into the guests. Very good quality for low prices and it is mostly famous for its souvlaki, something you have to try when you visit.
7. Senses - Westin Financial Street (Beijing, China)

I just had to have this restaurant on the list because I simply love Champagne and this restaurant in Westin Financial Street Beijing provides free flow of Champagne with its Sunday Brunch buffet. All luxurious food you can eat and complement it with as much Champagne you want for only 368 RMB plus 15% service charge. It is simply amazing that you can get so much for that price. A must visit when you are in Beijing.
8. Vineyard Cafe (Beijing, China)

A young, classic, great value restaurant suitable for all. The place provides probably the best value wine list in Beijing, if not China and the food is good. The restaurant gives you a selection of classical European dishes with a little touch of innovativeness. The price range goes for around 100 RMB per person for 2 courses of dinner.
9. Paper (Beijing, China)

If looking for exciting interior, good Chinese food, great value prices then this is the place. The chef gives you a good selection of classical Chinese dishes which many favours. The restaurant is newly opened and has already come to the eyes of the Beijing foodies. They also provide a very nice selection of wines for a good price.
10. Cafe Milano (Stockholm, Sweden)

A restaurant that has been in Stockholm for a very long time and made its reputation upon high quality food for a fair price for its customers. Owners of Cafe Milano has been changed a few times however the name is still the same. Its food is ok, I prefer their pasta dishes. It has some specialties that stand out a little bit. Staffs are friendly and quite well educated within wine and food.
