Gondolen (Slussen), (Stockholm)

Grade: 4,5 of 5

A restaurant for royalties, the rich and the famous. It is a magnificent restaurant with the best view in Stockholm. It is said that Gondolen is the most favorable restaurant by Gustav III (the King of Sweden). It is quite expensive however by having that reputation they can certainly take out that price.
For people that has not been in Stockholm, or for the population of Stockholm that has not had the chance of going there should definitely try it out. The elevator up in the sky and dining with water view and the lovely sunset over Stockholm is nothing but perfect.
They have a great variety of wines as well as amazing food. The bar is constantly packed with people on Wednesdays and weekends. If going to eat there you should try out their seafood menu.

Bistro Nouveau (Ostermalm), (Stockholm)

Grade: 4 of 5

Small and lovely. This restaurant is for true French cuisine lovers. It has well balanced French dishes with good combined wine to complement for an enjoyable food experience.
Some mistakes are made when it comes to presenting wine and food. However all in all it is a good restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Sometimes it feels a little bit too expensive. Although some of the dishes are worth the pay.

Oaxen (Archipelago - outside of the city), (Stockholm)

Grade: 5 of 5

A restaurant that is located in the most beautiful scenery of Stockholm, Sweden, in the archipelago just a stone throw outside of the city. The restaurant has won numerous of awards around the world and is categorized as one of the best restaurants in the Northern Europe. It has also won 2 Micheline Stars and nominee as most recommended restaurant in Stockholm by Western Taste. 60 seats are available inside and 50 additional seats are used for the summer on the outside just by the Baltic Sea. Great food, high standards, lovely service and absolutely wonderful scenery. This is well worth the price, even though it is a bit high.

Operakallaren (Kungstradgarden), (Stockholm)

Stefano Catenaccis amazing team has brought Operakallaren yet again back on track for this beautiful restaurant. This is probably one of the most historical food & beverage outlets in Sweden when it comes to fine dining and well known culinary experiences. The restaurant has also been given one star in the Micheline Guide this year for its excellence in service and high performance to deliver gastronomic experiences to its guests.

Seikoen (Tegelbacken), (Stockholm)

Grade: 4 of 5

Japanese cuisine with a touch of fusion makes it the best Japanese restaurant in Stockholm and one of the best in Scandinavia. A family owned business where the mother is Swedish and the father is Japanese with their children as top chefs in the restaurant makes it with more feeling, soul and heart behind the dishes.
I have never eaten such good Japanese food before in the western world. Their staffs are friendly, knowledgeable and understands the concept of service. With a Japanese (the father) head chef, which is one of the most strict and demanding chefs to its employees known to man, makes the dishes even better.
