Western Taste recommends the best restaurant in Beijing and Stockholm

Western Taste has been trying out over 150 restaurants in each city to select the title: "Most Recommended Restaurant in Beijing 2008” and "Most Recommended Restaurant in Stockholm 2008 ".

Many innovative restaurants have been created the recent years in China. Many of them are located in the Olympic city Beijing. It has been very interesting and enjoyable to try out 150 restaurants here. There is food and innovative cooking in Beijing like no where ells in the world. The new concept of fusion (mix of western and eastern cuisine) has been proactively created with very nice results.

Stockholm has one of the best restaurants in Europe. The Swedes are very careful and picky when it comes to quality ingredience and excellent cooking. It is important to have quality food, not only on the table, but also to know its original starting point of quality. That is why Stockholm has several Michelin star restaurants and one of the best sommeliers in the world.

All the finalists fighting for the title "The Most Recommended Restaurant in Beijing 2008" and "The Most Recommended Restaurant in Stockholm 2008" consist of high quality food and innovative cuisines. However there can only be one winner in each capital.

The points that the restaurants are criticised on are: food, staff, interior, beverage recommendation, beverage list, wine & food pairing, presentation and also innovative complementariness.

Some of the tested restaurants from Beijing are for example:
Jasmine Restaurant and Lounge, Alameda, Salt, Crystal Jade, Chef Too, W Dine and Wine, Face Bar, My Humble House and Green T. House.
