Beijing, China
L'Isola
Top Italian restaurant with high standard raw materials. Sommelier that manage the floor with excellent performance and deep understanding in wine. A chef, which is the brother of the sommelier, provides top quality cooking and some very good Italian dishes. Interior is beautiful, wine list is wounderful and the food is fantastic. The one thing that could bring this place down is its pricing. Sometimes it is even more expensive than 5 star hotels.
Le Quai
This restaurant provides innovative Chinese cusine with a touch of fusion. However, if compaired with other fusion restaurants in Beijing, this place has actually kept its Chinese traditional core. The raw materials have high standards and the quality of food is at top. Also innovative design with an art gallery on the second floor is a plus. Wine knowledge among the staff is a little bit behind.
Barolo - Ritz Carlton
Ritz Carlton says itself. The chef is aboslutely wounderful in its cooking and provides wounders when it comes to innovative mordern Italian food. The wine list is amazing and is so far the best we seen in Beijing. A skilled sommelier that assists you in selecting some fine wines and a lovely atmosphear that surrounds you.
Blue Lobster - Shangri-La
The most famous chef in Beijing, Brian McKenna, gives his innovativeness with one of the most interesting food and beverage experiences in China. Try the tooth brush and you will be stuned. Some dishes you will never taste anywhere ells in the world. This is not only dining, this is an experience.
One more test will be made before the final decision for the title "Most Recommended Restaurant in Beijing 2008" and "Most Recommended Restaurant in Stockholm 2008".
Yours Sincerely!
