The « H » in H.Upmann stands for Herman, a European banker who transformed his love for cigars to an industry on Cuba the year 1844. The family was very succesful within the banking- and cigar business for over 40 years. Today the brand is one of the oldest brands in the world and has been going on until this day without stop. Although you should be carefull of the once that are machine made. The quality is very different from the one that are hand made and machine made.

Fully bodied and rich cigar with a aromatic flavour. The cigar is strong and oaky. It goes very well with coffee and chocolate. Also to complement with some Islay Single Malt whiskey is very nice.

 

The face of the man on the label is Simon Bolivar. The character of the cigar fits the character fo the man that represents the cigar. Strong and bold. This cigar is for true cigar lovers that appriciates the powerfull taste which it brings. The cigar brings a very nice even burn with dark leaves of the cigar.
