Beijing, China
Maison Boulud (French Haute Cusine)
Located in the former area; Legation Quarter but now known as Chien Men. This restaurant brings the French cuisine in Beijing to another level with excellent service and great standards. The food here is really something different from the rest of the French restaurants in China and with a wine list that consists of 800 wines is not bad at all. The wine list is probably one of the largest I have ever seen. So you do not need to feel embarrassed to ask for the sommelier when it comes to wine guidance.

Agua (Spanish)
Also located in the former area of Legation Quarter but now known to be Chien Men. This Spanish restaurant focuses on Tapas but with a higher standard and better performance. The wine selection could be more interesting for us however the chef is very talented. We enjoyed the King scallops with special durum and citrus touch and also the Veal Shank (2 months old) served with mushrooms and thyme fricassee.

The Bar & Grill - The Regent (European)
Great service, excellent f&b management and very innovative when it comes to food. The focus that they have to constantly upgrade themselves are very good. They have the knowledge and understanding of giving good gastronomic experiences to its clients and can provide individual services since the dining room is quite small with only 15 tables.

Sureno - The Opposite House (Italian)
The restaurant is absolutely wonderful and gives the perfect ambiance for the excellence in food and wine. The staffs are probably the most trained and educated in Beijing dining scene. The food gives high standard at all time. The only bad side is probably that which dish to choose considering the size of the dishes. Some are normal and some are too small to be called a main course.
